10 GRE Basic Facts You Must Know!

1. GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.
2. This exam is especially taken by a student who wants to study or pursue Post Graduation program in the USA.
3. When somebody is talking about GRE they mean “GRE General Test”. There are two gre tests available General and Subjects test.
4. The phrase “GRE General Test” has been replaced and now it is called as “Revised GRE General Test” or “GRE revised General Test.”
5. With the new “revised” test format, you can re-take the test as many times as possible.
6. GRE Test Sections are divided into “Verbal Reasoning”, “Quantitative Reasoning” and “Analytical Writing.”
7. The cost of GRE test is $195 which is approximately 11,900 INR.
8. Just for attending the GRE Exam you will be given a minimum score of 260.
9. You have to provide any of your original id proofs while taking the exam.
10. The GRE Score is valid for 5 years.
