Chandigarh: A few things to consider while attending the GRE test that might help you:
1. Get Enough Sleep Before The Test: It is obvious that a good sleep is must for having a stable mind, but that does not mean you jump into bed and hope for the best. A proper restful sleep before the test day is too important to leave to chance. So do whatever it takes to maximize the possibilities of having a relaxed night’s sleep. If that means doing mental imagery exercise, abstaining from caffeine all day or sleeping with earplugs and an eye mask. Stay away from all the things that might ruin your night’s sleep.
2.Arrive Early: Reach your test center as early as possible. You certainly do not want to begin the day anxiously racing to the test centre at the last minute. Leaving early is also necessary to stay away from delaying factors such as vehicle breakdowns or traffic.
3.Make Strategies For Time Management And Stress Reduction: Few days prior to the test, be sure to discover techniques that will help you remain calm and focused during the test. Different people may have different techniques, but that might not necessarily work for you. So find out the technique that works best for you and practice them. The same goes for the time management strategies.
4. If Testing Conditions Are Not Proper Say About It: Is the computer system functioning properly? Is the mouse on your computer working well? Are there any distractions? Is the chair adjusted properly? If there is some issue or anything, with which the test center personnel can help you to have a better test experience then do ask them. Do the needful before the test begins.
Breathe Deeply: This will reduce the anxiety and will keep a healthy supply of oxygen flowing to your brain.
